Thom Lu is an animator born in Taiwan, raised in Canada. Currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.
In 2014, he graduated with a BFA in Animation from Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
In 2015, he experimented with experimental animation and produced two independent commissioned animation shorts.
In 2016, and the following a year and half, he worked at Smart City Media as a motion graphic animator producing high quality client based commercials.
In 2018, he spent a year in Taiwan, to travel, also focused on visual art creations and pursued the art of acting.
Definitely did his fair share of soul searching and wants to be a part of a great team in a productive environment.
Inspired mostly by Tim Burton, Walt Disney and Hayao Miyazaki, Thom always have the love for animation, detail oriented work and the love of producing high quality visual works.
